Sales Specialist

Opportunity:

Kundel Industries history is innovation. We build the most advanced production safety equipment on the market. As a Kundel Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for acquiring new customers in our targeted North American markets. You will work independently and will be directly responsible for closing business, working exclusively by phone and email. This position is a part of our growing Centralized Sales Department. We want you to succeed. Our Sales Specialists will be empowered with the ‘power tools’ needed to generate and sustain a profitable market, such as:

  • comprehensive sales training for our products
  • customer service support
  • cloud CRM and Quoting software
  • iPad and iPhone sales software

Annual Compensation and Benefits:

Fixed base salary (doe) + commission (up to 8% of GMP) no earning ceiling. For example, a successful salesperson could reasonably earn $70,000 or more the first year under our compensation system, based on your ability.

Responsibilities:

  • Co-develop a marketing plan and expected sales goal with a Kundel Sales Manager
  • Generate new business through cold calls, accessing our refined data base of targeted prospects
  • Sales pipeline management, including forecasting
  • Rapid and accurate qualification of all targeted accounts, including identification of decision makers within the account
  • Be responsible for using and updating our CRM system to keep the Kundel Sales Manager informed of all activities, i.e., sales funnel, history, events, visits and quotes
  • Identify new ways to increase productivity and effectiveness of the selling effort
  • Fully leverage our web-based ‘power tools’ created to enhance remote sales, accelerate the selling process, and improve closure rate
  • Prepare sales quotes and collect invoices
  • Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales
  • Overcome objections of prospective customers
  • Emphasize customer value propositions, product/service features and benefits, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports
  • Appropriately communicate brand identity and corporate position
  • Some travel may be necessary. You will be responsible for creating travel schedules to be pre-approved by a Kundel Sales Manager at least two weeks in advance of travel in order to be reimbursed for expenses
  • Be involved in trade organizations that support customer base

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Passion for selling
  • 3+ years of remote/virtual successful sales experience sales experience selling into the manufacturing markets

  • Knowledge of construction or related equipment is preferred; however candidates with comparable industry experience will also be considered

Customer Care Specialist

Parts Production Manager

Opportunity:

We are in the process of expanding our management team. We are looking for a Parts Production Manager to streamline, maintain and organize our parts production. The Parts Production Manager will also identify areas of improvement, enhance efficiency and provide logistical support to our employees and customers. We empower our managers with the tools needed to create an environment that fosters a safer and more productive industry. The Parts Production Manager will work closely with our management team to develop and improve technology tools to help our employees to thrive and succeed.

To be qualified, the ideal candidate will have three years of shop floor experience, strong planning and problem-solving experience, excellent interpersonal communication skills, proficient computer skills, and strong organizational and management skills. We also look for a candidate who with a strong service-oriented personality and organizational skills. Two years of college or equivalent experience is preferred.

Duties:

  • Build a protocol that identifies potential problems and supports problem solving
  • Build a foundation of supportive data that enhances Kundel product lines, services, customers, and employees
  • Be responsible for:
  • Turning sales orders into part production orders
  • Scheduling parts production
  • Procuring quality parts and providing recommendations of quality raw material purchases
  • Reducing part cost by production method and raw material utilization
  • Providing customer quotes, as needed
  • Using our software systems to:
  • Maintain optimum operation of all part making machines
  • Provide scheduling with our Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) software
  • Provide customer relations support
